FIRST CRICKET TOURNAMENT: Started on 18th march 1998 consisting of 10 teams. 22 league matches were played before the first ever finals of our society at the prestigious WANKHEDE STADIUM on 9th of may 1998, witnessed by more that 1500 to 2000 spectators…

SECOND CRICKET TOURNAMENT: Started on 16th November 2001 i.e. after a span of almost three years as great things doesn’t happen too often, this time it was even better consisting of twelve teams and along with our past experience. We achieved success once again. The final match was once again a big excitement as it was our first ever DAY & NIGHT at POLICE GYMKHANA.

THIRD CRICKET TOURNAMENT: Started on 31st October 2004 i.e. again after three years. It was for third time a grand success. It started on 31st Oct 2004 and the final match was once again DAY & NIGHT at POLICE GYMKHANA with Big Screen and presences of 3000 Audience.

FOURTH CRICKET TOURNAMENT (INTER-VILLAGE): Started on 04th February 2007 i.e. again after three years. It was a mega event first time in the history of Sanchore & a grand success. The grand finale was once again DAY & NIGHT at POLICE GYMKHANA on 2nd April’2007 with 2 Big Screen and presences of approx 4000 Audience.
Finalist team: Winner – Sanchore ‘A’
Runner up – Jhab.

RRC have organized two SUPER SIXES tournaments also with 16 (sixteen) teams and again one of the finals were played DAY & NIGHT at POLICE GYMKHANA.
1st Tournament Winner – Navjeevan Cricket Club (NCC)
2nd Tournament Winner– Bombay Cricket Club (Satyapur)
Its not only cricket which we have targeted, RRC did arrange two BOWLING COMPETITION, one at Super Dome and another at the bowling company (CO’S)

Winner at Bowling Co. – Gautam Bokadia.
RRC had also organize two TREASURE HUNTS (A unique one with a difference) which shows our interest for other fields other that cricket also, which needs innovation and creation. |
